Campus utility teams will be conducting a project that will require a temporary shutdown of heated water for a portion of campus.
The work is scheduled to take place beginning the evening of Sunday, May 10, and continuing for one week. During this time, hot water will not be available for the impacted areas of campus, and internal building temperatures may drop to a cool level.
The affected buildings are: Central Heating Plant, Chemistry and Biochemistry Research, Chemistry, Champions Hall, Discovery Hall, Ferritor Hall, Fine Arts, Founders Hall, Gearhart Hall, Hillside Auditorium, J.B. Hunt, Kimpel Hall, Old Main, Mechanical Engineering, Mullins Library, Music Building, Nanoscale Material Science and Engineering, Physics, Reynolds Center, Science Engineering Hall, Vol Walker Hall, Walton College of Business and Willard J. Walker Hall.
Any concerns or questions can be directed to Lori Wilson (lw200@uark.edu) or James Milner (jmilner@uark.edu). Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as our facilities team conducts essential maintenance for campus.
